For the treatment of heartwater, anaplasmosis (tick-borne gall sickness), root rot, pneumonia, navel-ill and joint-ill in cattle, sheep and goats and pneumonia in swine, and for the treatment of pink eye (infectious bovine keratoconjunctivitis) in cattle. A stable, sterile, ready to use solution containing oxytetracycline dihydrate equivalent to 200mg oxytetracycline base per ml. After the administration of a single intramuscular injection of 1ml/10kg live body mass, sufficient oxytetracycline blood levels are sustained for 3-5 days in cattle, sheep, goats and pigs. After the administration of a single intramuscular injection of 1,5ml/10kg live body mass, sufficient oxytetracycline blood levels are sustained for up to 5-6 days in cattle and sheep.
